FLAG CONSTRUCTION

Our flags are made from a durable indoor/outdoor synthetic fabric with dye applied straight through them for best color.

The buntings are heavy stitched and the fly (edges of the flag) are double stitched to endure wind, weather and regular use.

All 3 X 5 ft. and 2 x 3 ft sized flags include metal (never plastic!) grommets and fit on any standard flag pole.

Our smaller flags have either wood or plastic sticks and the flag poles we sell are aluminum and well suited for outdoor use year round.

HOW LONG WILL THE FLAG LAST?

Our flags are considered to be "Honor Display Quality". If kept and displayed indoors the flag will last indefinitely.

Light use in good weather should see it last for many years.

If you plan to leave your flag up year round in all weather expect it to last 2 to 3 years depending on wind conditions.

Flags used on the sea shore or other heavy wind areas break down quickly. However, even if left up year round you should still get up to year of use before it requires replacement. Pull your flags in during heavy weather and their life span goes up dramatically.

We do not recommend our flags for use on ocean going vessels or extreme conditions. The wind, sea and climate extremes require extremely heavy duty maritime flags that cannot be made affordable to the general public.
