Flag Adopted 29 June 1993

Featuring the famous 12 century temple, Angkor Wat, this flag has the traditional red and blue colors of the earlier Khmer Empire (9th century).

The number of towers has varied over the years from five to three. This flag is called the "flag of national unity".
