Syria Flag (Syrain)

This flag makes use of the Arab liberation colors of red, green, black and white which were adopted as part of the push for independence from the Ottoman empire by many of the regions countries.

The two stars represent Syria and Iraq. There was once a plan to unite Egypt, Syria and Iraq into a one political entity (the flag has 3 stars then).
