Taiwan Flag

Flag Adopted 28 October 1928

This flag was formerly the flag of China from who Taiwan separated in 1949. The red field represents China, the blue canton and white sun was the party flag of the Kuomingtang. The sun has 12 points, one for every two hours of the day (for unending progress).
