Tajikistan Flag

Flag Adopted 24 November 1992

Adopted just after breaking away from the former USSR, this flag displays the same colors as the earlier flag of the Tajikistan province. The crown and seven stars symbolize the sovereignty of the Tajikistan.

The green color represents the abundant agriculture with the white representing cotton (the regions chief product).
