Yemen Flag

Flag Adopted 1990

Adopted upon unification of North and South Yemen in 1990 this flag is the union of the two previous flags.

Made up of what is called the Pan- Arab colors, red, black white. Green (the traditional color of Islam) is usually one of the Pan-Arab colors, however it was omitted from the flag as the government has declared itself to be secular.
