Tennessee Flag

Flag of Tennessee

Tennessee Flag
Became a US State: 1796

Tennessee was the third state to join the union after the original 13, the three stars represent the three grand divisions of the state, east, middle and west.

Adopted in 1905, the flag features three stars representing the grand divisions of the state: East, Middle and West. The stars are bound together in indissoluble unity by an unending white band.

Also, while the three colors are the same as the Confederate flag, there is no mention anywhere of it being those colors because of the Confederate flag.
